A rebel at heart Ilya spent his youth gallivanting through the absinth soaked streets of Berlin searching for the meaning of life. Rubbing elbows with hedonists, surrealists and sadists he expanded his horizons beyond the small hovel he grew up in. Despite all this he could not liberate himself from the craftsmen’s work ethic instilled in him by his father Boris. Ilya specializes in the Monotype printing process.
